We are taking a different approach to assessment in Team-Based Learning (TBL).
We have been dissatisfied with most of the prior frameworks that assess team performance, feeling that they only look at the overall team, or maybe that of the team leader.
We believe that it is important to look at intra-team dynamics, activity streams and data collection approaches that objectively capture what happens within a team in much richer detail.
As part of the PiHPES Platform, we have a number of TBL-oriented virtual scenarios in development and testing. These will be more generally released once they have been validated to some degree.
